To start off I have moved from Anchorage down to living in Moose Pass, it's a nice quiet little town, and I am really enjoying life down here. The house I have moved into is a lot smaller but it's just me and the animals all summer so it really is fine and the price is right. The down side is that I don't really have a dedicated room now for quilting, I have my long arm in the living room but it fits perfect there, I am blogging from my iPad right now since there is no Internet connection yet! <br><br>I do have to say that now that I am getting settled I have been able to get back into the swing of things and really get some quilting done! Here are some pictures of some of the client quilts that I have finished down here. I am going to try to figure out how to post pics in the blog so you can see what I have been working on. Between work and quilting I have been pretty busy but having fun too! <br><br>Happy sewing!<br>Enjoy the photos!</p></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvyKN9w4PWQ3DkVwMHA7X6w0xIjoGaPAQ4KYj1DOxds_PwZxFSp54fK0Vs2EHdKEQCDLqSdNZYCPP9TTussFDFVLbc5e5gqFRShpb9FG41-ZMbQ66KqRp11xS9xiXWRSetKDkWzte93Ac/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjG57d3wfmGytDXS5IWEkXpOLKvKss7tQgT_xVIFEZDApdJ2nJjzrztUat6cslSfsKU-p7Hwjm8kWnNC2H-9sV4HtPE4LmHqImwhKL_mtxlmcuS4rJWc8ByU3DO2nrcJeorWePxcFTr0FE/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9_aCnkkn81rRS6NPzmCoxTDBA956DyGhuIrbFOg63vmOnuTQrZyKMpga7nSxfOYGOB-BF4fhl0B9DurlfjMZBgvea2w-4z5YhUKreWglXg7I1FtwBI_yRQmVUtRDnwqkHTJcwLVfle18/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEqswxJMkwyLLAenw0m6pLu6ylG6pwQjUbPf9ZcZnu-3FQIPu9lRAp4MuiDFnk_Y3Scwz1t6-lZut6kKAfvG-QCIIl6OofAYeUFoB9RiB7Y-PFzppfS-kqrDh54Bms6n90snBf6g0rc0A/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAlUrNbe0Ft7WAijNmbInhcBMLjE4tiuNh7dYdqvVNupGpdmK5QaWzJGJYla__Ba_3DPuT6WfS1fThLpLtZOulJ4iMTN38A6xW7yPO4zFFAwhQdmJjRtdKazB2j0FaIsdpN_f-x5f3MLQ/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivf6dQg6O4BdJlt37ZsnAulMP62Q_c2jRrz1mI7TU297WPQv9EFuY9D0N75xiY7ErJ1zEidmvAm2tNuO2c53jvc5BE9srVrVy5SPRigy-ZcPM18FI0OR2WR8urZ45iWHJ8OMRVG0hnGGI/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8ADU4k5kqZ7bgNm9FN_5ce2k1TJUuo0hprMJcJxDIN06zAeyo7GCf1SuX-k7qFjcI-WeMCwRAIW3sCnanUnm1gW-gaXAyTUarkaqJJZLnncA39i0yKxZY2qJGFjhSjpNO-HkwP0-_c20/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLsNlN-GLHGc75OiPDx97fEqH6k3rh0Sc6CLNpyTf6j7FdMiA6tzndaSehLpuO_FT_i7V3_OkVPzsVcvuTbY_0IOvp8O7faELIeRubzagnXDtLisnb-W5acibECxFg6fmmmV2tB6H-RVY/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe3UQdkL86P4IpXjCYgf2wD4hu7tRV_S7snqvcyuEnS8r2_rCemoc2CXoeXnoNj2fRlwvQ2mALi0qB01vab83JpminXz_qXGcj1mhdW7bK8o7uQKDqjs0NM0RCFc-Spf7cRa-3_XXELkk/' ></img></div></p><p><div align='center' class='bloggerplus_image_section' ><img src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUn8TRJCalUsQvoJR8afcTlvZedK024m8w4-2OFGdeVVCxdZRVQhhYfTkk11cdgtR3WrpESgcarHf1kt6-RlrzsGe3rHZGL1cLFdtRxevTIWwWsyGZmbd4xg7cgWdAiVXiVtJsA3F4evI/' ></img></div></p>The Last Yardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04228608112562581650noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5764406438655475195.post-25926142358863246412011-06-11T14:19:00.001-07:002011-06-11T14:19:02.364-07:00Testing <p><p class='bloggerplus_text_section' align='left'>Ok so we are checking to see if I can actually blog with the iPad. The yarn is toufotsie and its coming together pretty fast. I just turned the heel so no more pics of it yet but hopefully I can get them done soon.<br />I started 2 new BOM programs the other day... The first one is the Vintage Christmas by bunny hill designs Ordered thru <a href="http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=1686851257381686&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=31318&Parent_Ids=">The Fat Quarter Shop</a> I am very impressed with this, I recieved the first month block on Monday and its been so easy to applique together.<br />The Second BOM program that I am doing is by Cinderberry Stitches <a href="http://cinderberrystitches.typepad.com/photos/tail_feathers_10_part_bom/index.html">Tail Feathers</a> Thru Treasured Threads, not so much impressed with this... I love the pattern and Cant wait to make it but I figured when you pay to do a Block of the month they send you the fabric and such to do it. Well I guess I read something wrong there cause all I got was the pattern so after work tonight I will go and hunt down the supplies to make this cute quilt too. I will not let that discourage me. <br />Well enough of that rant. I am going to do some work and then work on my applique <br /><br />So go check out <a href="http://www.patchworktimes.com/">Judy's blog </a>and enter to win the wonderful Red Sock yarn that she has posted<br /><br />Happy Knitting and Sewing<br />TammyThe Last Yardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04228608112562581650noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5764406438655475195.post-53518986126705376082009-07-30T12:38:00.000-07:002009-07-30T12:44:58.418-07:00What I am working onWell I am going to try to blog more then I have been but I decided tuesday night to step out of my box and make a coin quilt with colors that I like but not really that I would normally use... We got on the boat at 11am and traveled out to the island which is about an hour ride on the boat. We went in and had a yummy prime rib and crab legs lunch, then I walked around on the beach for a bit. The people that were not staying the night got back on the boat and continued their tour of resurection bay while mom and I and 5 other groups stayed on the island. Mom had to work in the gift shop for a while so I walked along the beach for a bit then went to our cabin and knitted for a bit. Then we all met up for a wonderful 5 star dinner. Our Chef made us a yummy horsradish, panko crusted Halibut that was so yummy and when it was time for desert I was shocked to see he had made me a special treat. My mom let him know I was allergic to Chocolate so when they brought out the Chocolate Moouse they brought me a yummy Creme Brulle. The wine was great and so was the breakfast that they made us the next morning... The rest of the group caught the boat and went on a long glacier cruise and mom and I caught the shuttle back to Seward. We went to the local quilt shop and then I headed out to the mining claim for the night....When I got home sunday I finished the Blooms for Annebell top and now I am working on the applique part of it and put on the borders then it will be ready for quilting.. here is the pic of my progress<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS9r_dEMeLn-cKqMiNI-90TRvx3nrbybbKSREpp-Cf8tUpzgIM5Zi_lQo2BXSF_K421gTU7AJUKZanP06RqIXW1JktbPCLdGJ9yL177gr549DlCOhaqCt9Ffsge4Q1WRKa3IVm1kqMw0Y/s1600-h/IMG_1080.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiS9r_dEMeLn-cKqMiNI-90TRvx3nrbybbKSREpp-Cf8tUpzgIM5Zi_lQo2BXSF_K421gTU7AJUKZanP06RqIXW1JktbPCLdGJ9yL177gr549DlCOhaqCt9Ffsge4Q1WRKa3IVm1kqMw0Y/s320/IMG_1080.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363959528348529234" /></a><br />I was pretty tired when I got off work last night so I didnt work on the applique. I figured if I sat there and did hand work I would fall asleep so I started my version of a coin quilt. I am about 3/4 finished with it already. I will post pics of it tomorrow. I am looking forward to relaxing this weekend. It seems all I have been doing for the past month is driving everywhere and I am ready to just relax. <br />So What are you up to!The Last Yardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04228608112562581650noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5764406438655475195.post-82824392948167844552009-06-26T09:27:00.000-07:002009-06-26T09:36:44.789-07:00I got a mini Quilt and I love it!!!I participate in the Spring Blooms mini quilt swap.
